I wouldn't think so. I would imagine the only reason to make a printer SCSI
would be for speed.

If a printer has a DB25 or DB9 connector, it's a serial (usually PC)
printer. 36 pin Centronics is parallel, 50 pin Centronics is SCSI. And of
course, Mini Din 8 is Mac serial.
