The Register's article kind of touched on the new interface. What they
didn't mention, however, is that you now need the latest greatest computer
and a broadband connection, just to read your spam, er, mail. I visited the
site yesterday on my 7500/100. Sure, it looks good, but it is so incredibly
slow. Selecting 10 or 20 spam messages to be deleted took probably two
minutes, just to click the checkboxes! All the fancy graphics and excessive
JavaScript have made the site almost completely worthless to users of older
computers.
