Hi Bill,
Audio jacks on vintage Macs are all predominantly the same (at least my
collection shows this!) miniplug. Whether output is mono (like the LCs) or
stereo (IIsi, IIvx, IIci, etc.) is model to model specific. I use a stereo
mini plug (male) to RCA l/r female adapter for my needs with good results on
any unit (so far).
Radioshack makes such an adapter, though it's more like a small box with the
requisite jacks on either end. Markertek Corp. also has an item which is
more cable-like (4" long), and is actually more useful, as it can get into
the small places on some Mac back panels that the Radio Shack "boxette"
can't. I have the model no. of the Markertek unit at my office; I'll post it
for everyone when I get there for "FYI" status.
Best regards,
Dana
