Hello. I happen to have a 6200. I've owned it since
1994 and even though it is slow and crippled it has
been pretty reliable for me. I maxed out the ram and
run system 8.1. The only major problem I had was that
the 15 inch multiplescan Apple monitor went on me and
was replaced by Apple. That replacement eventually
went too. I replaced that with a 17 inch IBM monitor.
That looks a little weird seeing the big blue letters
IBM sitting on top of an Apple. It hardly ever
crashes or freezes. My Powerbook 1400 freezes more
often. It is probably slower than my Quadra 650 but
it can run the Power PC software the Quadra can't. It
is decent for word processing ( I use Claris 4.0) and
email (I use Eudora lite) but slow while surfing the
net ( I use IE 4.5). I'll probably run it until it
drops which may be a while if it keeps going like it
is. Even though it is "the worst Mac ever" it is
still a Mac.

John
