More precise:

LC series can handle any 3.5" HDs up to 1.6" height.

BUT, watch that wattage/current requirements on that HD!  the PSU in 
LC series is bit under 30W and most of it is given over to 
logicboard/w daughterboard added, some to FD.  I did figure it and 
added up all the watts for each voltage * current on that PSU label.  
Around 27.xxW.

So keep the total wattage on that HD to around 8W max or power it 
seperately or in external box instead.
