On this.....
I mentioned a while back, that I had obtained quite an extensive
collection of older Mac software... Mostly Stuffit archives on
CD-ROM's. Whenever someone asks, on-list about a particular piece of
older software, I'll have DiskTracker search through about 240,000
files to see if I have it.
If I've got it & no one has posted a link or suggestion where they
can get it, I'll send the person a private email asking if anyone has
sent it to them yet & if not, would they like a copy.
If it's a relatively small file, I'll send it to them an email
attachment. If it's relatively large... I used to put it up on one of
my nbci.com websites in a hidden folder & send the person a URL where
they can download it.
Nbci.com don't do that no mo'. It seems all their web pages have
become read only... Anyone have suggestions where I can find free
webspace to upload & delete files as folks may have need for them?
Cheers,
Andrew
