Yeah, you should initialize it. If there's a problem with initializing it,
then you're stuck. Maybe you should always be in a position to go back to
zero and start a 'puter fresh because sometimes it's the only way to do it.
I'm dumping a lot of old software on the swap list right now (7.1 is there
by the way if anyone within reasonable shipping prices needs/wants it), and
it bothers me that I have to do that because prior to now, I've always
maintained every disk and back-up disk just for problems like that. But
times are a changin' and my rooms aren't made of expandoelastic!! You can
always look on eBay, too for the Oceanic version (ha ha) Isn't 7.1 on the
web somewhere????..... all the best...........
