Hi! I'm new to the list. My name is Deven, and I'm a Vintage Mac enthusiast. I have a
Mac IIsi, IIci, and a Plus. I'm also big on upgrading my old macs, and I'm working on
networking them to a Linux-based LAN. I also do some Think C programming for System 7,
and have produced a program with a friend (I did the programming, he did the
graphics), called DaeDalus, which runs on any Mac II or higher decently. It displays a
small, resizable animated picture of a fox secretary character, who types along with
you, clicks the mouse when you do, etc. You can also format disks within the program
and I'll be adding some more features soon. (If you're interested in seeing it, I'll
be posting it to my site soon and you can check it out.)

I've upgraded my IIci with a Turbo 040-40 card, 48 megs of RAM, a Radius Precision 8xj
NuBUS video card, an external 530mb hdd, and a 4x apple caddy-load cdrom drive. I even
spray-painted it with camoflage marks. I'm also looking into clock-chipping (can we
please just say overclock)ing my IIsi to maybe 30mhz and using it as a game
server/file server.

Well, that's me! I hope to hear from some others and find out about them, too. :)

See ya,
Deven
