Off topic perhaps, but seriously disturbing and crying out for a place to mourn.. not so strange... I think we all needed a place to vent our frustrations about this horrible thing that has happened to the Americans... Just so happens we are members of a mac list i'm sure we will get back on topic soon enough... Now for a mac question... I have a macintosh LC that I can't seem to get on my local lan... Try as I might I have a PDS ethernet card that was successful in getting an old version of ICQ to connect, but I have not had any luck after that... actually I had fetch working one day as well.. I'm wondering why or how I was able to do things one day but not the next. The system I am connecting to is a linux server using DHCP to pass out IP's... Can anyone tell me of some useful things a mac LC (pizza box type) can do with ten megs of ram in it and an ethernet card? I tried netscape 2.02 in OS 7.5 but it's so slow it's next to useless...
