Nope, that 040 card only works in the Mac II series,
with an adaptor in many of them. The actual Q700
upgrade kit from Apple was the logicboard and
complete lower case. You swapped the drives, power
supply and case lid over from the IIci or IIcx.
If you have three NuBus cards in your IIci/IIcx
you'll have to decide which one to give up. Easy
choice if one is a network card as the Q700 has that
built in. (But Apple didn't have to cut the 700
dow to 2 NuBus slots, dammit!)
