Apparently the guy who did the Mercury Classic II just walked into a Lexus
dealership and asked for their clearcoat silver metallic...

I would think the service department would be very agreeable once you waved
the required amount of dollars in their face, but I suppose mebbe FoMoCo
might have some stupid corporate rules against it.

In which case you just find a different brand of car that happens to have
the appropriate paint colours...
