You must connect the internal card connector to the
end
of the cable. (Does it have just one internal
connector?)
If using only internal OR external devices then the
card's termination must be on. If using internal AND
external devices the card's termination must be off.
(Is termination on/off on the Jackhammer done
automatically?)

How many internal and external connectors are on
these cards?

At any rate, any SCSI chain plugged into any one
connector on a SCSI card must be connected at the
end of the cable and the device at the other end of
the cable must be terminated.
