Well, OS X uses the "same" specs (128 Mb RAM, 1.5 Gb space, per Apple's 
site) - but at least there's no activation, or "tie in" *cough* to other 
Apple 'services' (yes, I know about iTools, but that's not quite the same. 
You can completely ignore it if you want to, and not lose anything.)

I have to wonder how long that's going to last. At least it's not a 
'subscription' service like they were trying to push with Office XP (and I 
*think* actually use in some countries.)

Looks like I"m looking for WIn2k on the PC side... still new-Mac shopping 
while I'm playing with the IIsi and Quadra. Fortunately, the software I 
*like* is multiplatform anyway (Eudora, for instance.)
