i said i REBOOTED, not CRASHED 3x a day. i do it on
purpose to keep those crashes at bay. I also reboot as
i walk out the door to lunch or as I go to a meeting.

If you have TONS of ram (like 256 or more) the problem
of the memory leak diminishes SOMEWHAT, but it only
means that you will go longer without crashing, not
that you WON'T crash due to the memory leak.

It works like a charm. 9.2.1 takes about 60 secs to
boot my 233 iMac (256mb ram) and my 7500 G3 takes
about 90 secs (240 mb)  That's perfect for peeing,
getting a glass or oj or clipping my fingernails and
trimming my beard
