    Yes. I think what I need is the download cache. If anyone saved 
that when updating to QT Pro 3. Clicking on the "Update to QuickTime 
Pro" icon just logs onto the QuickTime 5 page.
    I don't recall if QT 3 worked the same a QT 4... In 4, if you have 
the download cache in the same folder as the QT updater, it will just 
work from the cache, rather than logging onto the QT website.

    On the subject of QT... What is the fastest (least frame skipping) 
version of QT Player that will work on a IIci?
