I have that LC475 going with 36megs RAM, the original 80meg HD and the VRAM upgrade. It has System 7.1.1 Pro (even though About This Mac says it's 7.1) on it with a bunch of the free enhancements from Apple installed. I also threw on a couple of lightweight word processor apps. I'll toss in a CD-R with a backup of the System and apps as they're installed plus installers for the System (and System 7.5 plus updates to 7.5.5 should the new owner get a bigger HD) and the other stuff.
I should be able to provide an Apple Keyboard II and a "square" mouse. I haven't tested the Color Plus monitor it came with (except for it not working because of the dead PRAM battery) but I'll do that ASAP. If someone just wants the LC475, keyboard and mouse, I'll let it go for the cost of shipping, won't even charge the $10 for the new PRAM battery. Same deal if you don't want the keyboard and mouse. (If the monitor works OK I dunno if I want to let it go since the Power IIci needs a monitor all its own and the bloody things are expensive to ship and shippers like to smash monitors.) I want to get the thing away from me before it talks me into buying it a full 040 CPU, bigger hard drive, CD-ROM etc, etc. I already gave in to upgrading the RAM to 36megs but that was easy since I already had a 32meg SIMM that was rejected by several 486 PC boxen and a Performa 550. For some reason it works 100% perfectly in the LC475. (Probably because it's an EDO SIMM.) So PLEASE someone take it before I spend too much (more) money on it! ;-) ===== "The earth swarms with inhabitants.
