    I sent you an off list link to a source for 7.1. If anyone else 
needs that source, contact me off list. (folks who have inquired

    Sure! You can download disk images, mount them on your G4 and 
install whatever early OS you want on an external drive. Using 
"Custom Install", specify the Colour Classic and away you go... Copy 
all the disk images to the external drive & you can mount them on the 
CC and proceed from there... Try doing that on a DOS box!

    If you need a means of mounting the disk images, once you get the 
hard drive physically transferred from the G4 to the CC, contact me 
off list for a URL to "The Site." ShrinkWrap works just fine for that!
