Laserwriters are much faster and much cheaper in use (up to 95
percent cheaper). Besides they handle postscript very well and are
compatible with both the oldest and the most modern of Macs and
Macintosh operating systems (The IIg will work smoothly with any mac
running system 5 to 10.1, and also with all unix and pc operating
systems ). Serial port inkjets are often only compatible with mac os
7-8-9.
