Yep. burning from hard drive, either files directly or, from disk
image is always better than burning CD->CD. Another reason... If a CD
happens to be copy protected & you're going CD->CD... you won't know
it until the very end... Then you've made a coaster.
Another suggestion: If you have a spare SCSI address, hook up a
700 or so Meg hard drive as a dedicated CD-mastering device...
Alternatively, set up a 700 Meg partition on your main hard drive.
Doing this, you can wipe the drive clean between CD's & copy
fresh, un-fragmented files for the next.
You can also open the hard drive, adjust the window size, arrange
icons or, set to "View as List"... Do the same for all folders within
the volume & arrange everything exactly the way you want things to
open on the final CD.
