The high voltage multiplier has a few rotary pots in/on it. One of them is horizontal screen size, IIRC. But getting the back casing off ... you don't want to know. And I don't rally remember if an LC monitor has the same click fingers as an Apple 12 or 12" RGB. If so, opening involves rotating it upwards while pulling it backwards... As a precaution, lock away all screwdrivers.
