I have a problem with file sharing between my LC II and iMac. The LC II is running System 7.1 and OT 1.1.2. My iMac is running Mac OS 9.2.2. I can easily access the HD on the LC II from the iMac. However, when I select the iMac in the Chooser from the LC II and key in my user name and password, the Chooser seems to quit and the Finder returns an error message of "The application 'unknown' has unexpectedly quit due to an error of type 4." The iMac does not appear on the desktop.
I've tried System 7.0.1 and 7.1 on the LC II with no success. System 7.5.5 actually works but requires more overhead than I'd like on an LC II. Any suggestions?
