With System 7.1 you are limited unless you've installed OT.  With 
Classic networking you have to reboot between changes (at least for 
IP, I don't recall for sure about AT).  You can use two 
simultaneously, one for IP and one for AT.

Some models of NuBus Ethernet card don't work well with others of the 
same type.  I think Asante are one such.  Apple cards don't have this 
problem.
