I kinda "feel" for the Applers.

Dozens of years of negative feedback have probably dented some enthusiasm
there in Cupertino.

Mac's hanging on by its fingernails. And it's O.S. X ain't receiving well,
overall.

I, for one, will always be starry-eyed-impressed with what the Mac O.S.
brought to computing. And what its machines are capable of at their ages.

Thanks in HUGE part to the O.S., Mac made a GIANT, historic dent in the home
computer market. First-ins, tho', are ALWAYS subject to a LOT of ME-TOO-ism.

Copy-cats copied themselves silly on the efforts of early Apple. It's easy
as hell to look great when copying the efforts of someone else, AFTER all
the mistakes have been made and Beta tested by the field.

The pressure cooker that was Apple in those early days was so tough to
withstand, some of the most brilliant and contributive people had to back
away for fear of their own sanities.
