It has a set of holes top and bottom with the slots, on the right side of
the picture, reminiscent of a card for Mac II. If it runs at the 10Mhz.
someome in the forum mentioned, it can't be an accelerator.

My guess is it's a control card to let the cards in the other slots run
together without conflict. Again, as you mentioned, it'd help loads to know
what that big chip's markings were.

Maybe it's only job in life is to send trace signals thru the motherboard
to check for damaged components.
