Hi Gregg, I'm very grateful. It seems any cable service is immune because they don't rent/buy bandwidth from MaBell. This is a real issue up here - the caps and extra charges if you exceed. Many fear the cable companies will ape the telcos i.t.o. pricing. Plus the quality of ADSL is directly related to the condition of the lines, etc. So affordable streaming video is still a dream. Apple was also burned by this sorry state of affairs in the mid-90s when Connectix marketed a B&W digicam (geoport connector) that did video networking via QT. (I had one, very sharp, high rez.)
