Recenty I finally got off my duff and started on doing the video
modification to my CC so I can pop in a 575 board. Working with the
instructions here <http://www.geocities.com/edakoda/> I'm stuck on step 3
<http://www.geocities.com/edakoda/page_6.htm>.
I can't get the chasis out as described. I've cleared the four
clips, but things won't budge more than a few milimeters, it seems like
there's something else holding it in place, between it and the front
panel. Am I just not pulling hard enough on it? (I'm using some "gentle"
force, doing my best to stay clear of the monitor yoke.)

I figured I could just ask the website's author, but noticing that
someone else here is on the heels of upgrading their CC, I thought I'd
bring the question here so they'll know what to expect too.

...anyone else think it's odd that the speaker is on the side despite the
"speaker holes" at the front center of the CC?
