Bill, does the fan move very little when you try the power on, keyboard, or
button? I have seen a number of these do this, and every time it is just
the power supply. But, if there is no movement from the fan then it has
been the motherboard. Let me know if this is your problem, I have been
doing a running tally, and so far it is powersupply 4 (fan moves a little),
and motherboard 2 (No movement at all).
IIcx's are all over the Phoenix area the past few weeks, just about every
goodwill, salvation army, savers, and others have at least two or three on
the shelf, so far I have had three that work just fine, out of nine that
I've spent all of $15 dollars on, except for the bad power supplys I now
have enough parts to keep my two going for a long time.
