my PC never came with the Win98 CDs. Very dodgy. If it wasn't for work's
MSDN CD libraries I'd be in a fix, I just don't think I could bring myself
to pay real money for Windows anything. Only good programming should be
rewarded...

Getting very off topic now but I reckon the licencing agreement for MSDN
(Microsoft Developer Network) CD Libraries must be a doozy. For those not
familiar with them, for about AUD$4000 a year you get pretty much every
piece of software Microsoft creates for, ahem, development and testing
purposes. It is abused like hell in just about every dev shop I've seen but
given that M$ is getting a fat few grand a year out of each company it
probably doesn't worry them that much.
