A LOT. Assuming you're like most other list members, you own one or more older Macs that Apple doesn't support any more and for which it's very difficult to find software that is *legally* licenced. So whether or not it's OK for you to install a copy of Microsoft Word 4 on your SE/30, for instance, is quite a germane topic of discussion here, as is related information (like the fact that DirectTV service cannot be "stolen" because it has zero value in Canada, in analogy to software, which, if no longer sold by its publisher, must also have zero value). If you want the Software Police to come knocking at your door and haul you away to jail for pirating software that's 10 years old and that you can no longer purchase, that's your business, but the rest of us don't seem to want that to happen, so we're discussing what might be done about it. >allowing this crap.
