Umm... In 1990, you would've been happy to be able to run 24bit video at all.
Video will probably be accelerated after installing the RasterOps control panel. And, as far as your IIfx not being a serious power machine, consider that it lived between 1990 and 1992, and that someone probably paid in excess of $10,000 for it.
