This "Micron" 17" sitting in front of me weighs a
lot less than the older NEC 15" Multisync Plus
sitting next to it. If you don't like heavy, keep
well away from genuine IBM monitors of any size.

Ever try to haul around an BM 6091-19 19" Trinitron?
My 19" television doesn't weigh half what that
monitor does! (I think they slipped some lead blocks
into the case.)
