First, make sure you're either burning as HFS (not HFS+), and you have
all the CD extensions installed properly in 7.1. You'll need the ISO9660
access and such probably.

Toast might be better at making more compatible discs.

Subject: cdrom made on G4 unreadable on OS 7.1

stop press...

trying another approach here - i'm going to try to use Splitsville to
split the file into several floppies and then email them over the
net....

only thing is, when i use the OS 9.2 cd burning facility on the G4 (drag
& drop) , the Duo230 says it is unreadable - again it can't find the
program that made the application!

what format do i need to make a CD in so it is readable for OS 7 ? can i
get an old version of Toast or something to make it work?

thanx again

m
