You need the following to make it a really nice desktop 68k Mac: LC475/Quadra 605 Logic board Full 68040 LCPDS Ethernet card (optional if you don't have a network - I do) 500MB or 1GB 50-pin SCSI hard disk (don't go much past 1GB as the PSU can't take it) 2x512k VRAM SIMMs 64MB Single-Sided, Single Bank 72-pin RAM SIMM (this will NOT work on the LCIII logic board) Assemble all that lot in that case and you will have a nice nippy little 040 Mac.
