The RGB port on the IIC will NOT support a mac monitor without other hardware. It won't even support the IIGS analog RGB monitors. The only use for it I'm aware of was for the lcd screens made for the IIC at that time (one made by Apple, one made by C-VUE). However, it will run just about any color composite monitor via a cable from the standard monitor port. This includes the Color monitor made for the IIC, and the more common ones made for the IIE.
