Well using RAM Doubler itself allowed me to virtually increase the memory from 65 to 130MB. The only problem I encountered was that the system become unstable when running programs. I would get frequent crashes on most of the apps I was trying to run. Don't know if this due to RAM Doubler or because the computer just didn't like it.
Put a bid on it but I wouldn't go too high on the thing. on 10/18/02 5:29 PM, flawed jai at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > those of you who know your II si's, take a look at this item and tell me > if these would work in my II si? > they are RAM doublers that let you put twice as many RAM sticks on your > 30 pin SIMM machine as the board was designed to hold. > > can the II si be made to see more than the maximum 65MB of RAM the II si > was supposed to use? > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2062943501 > > Janet > ------------- > > http://community.webtv.net/mensabrains/BADCODE > > http://www.anybrowser.org > > -- "We're all on the same sinking ship; it's just some of us were volunteered to be the captains." -- anonymous "Put that in your pipe and smoke it!" -- Dr. Evil from Goldmember. -- -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
