Hello all, I'm new to this list and have a question for all you knowledgable people. I bought a Macintosh 16 inch color trinitron CRT monitor in the early 90s and used it with my SE30 and then a PM7200/90. Weighs a ton. About 2 years ago it started flickering with horizontal lines across the screen. Sometimes it goes completely black and then flashes back on. All of this happens quickly, in a matter of seconds. Someone said it could be electrical interference, but I have moved several times and it still happens in new environments. What causes this? Is it dying and destined for the dump? Can any part of it be recycled? Can it be repaired and is it worth it? Appreciate any comments. Thanks.
