If windows 98 can do it without a cups driver, the mac os should be also be able to do it. Generating the postscript is a piece of cake on the Mac. The trick is to have this print server share the printer as if it were some laserwriter over the network via appletalk in order to have our 68k Macs recognize it and print to it. That is the impression I'm getting anyway...
