You might now, but older versions definitely ran on 8.1, and probably earlier
than that.

I'm pretty sure the original client itself was a fat binary, but 68K
development has since been stopped, IIRC.  If you can find an old Hotline
client (on the Hotline abandonware server? - there's a catch-22 for ya!), you
might be able to use it.
