it just hit me. there is a project on the web, i beleive it is at 

http://www.archive.com

that is endeavaoring to catalog every website ever put up on the web in
one vast online museaum library. so the sites that are or have
disappeared that you mourn, may well be over there at their collection!

mourn not, until you have checked for sure. the original site may be
gone now, but the archive may have caught it before it disappeared!
those downloads may not  be gone yet. go see.

if the url fails, look up a search for 'the internet archive'. i know i
have it,. Ill bring it here when i retrieve it.
