Well, ye olde 486 boxen usually didn't have trouble
keeping an AMD 5x86 running at 133Mhz busy when their
original chip was only 33Mhz. I suppose if it was
done right, it could be possible to swap out a 68k
CPU with one running at 3x speed. It'd probably
need some L1 internal cache that is "transparent" to
the System or Mac OS.
