Problem is that this does not really cause the PB to boot off of a flash card; the CF cards are capable of pretending to be an IDE device. All LCs that qualify for this list AFAIK do not have IDE controllers.
There are several SCSI flash card readers that should be bootable on all Macs. Kodak was clearancing them out of their online store for like $25 once upon a time.
