Dear Mr. Pickle, I want to thank your for your below FAQ. I have FINALLY found a way to connect my mac to my pc thru your STARGATE connection. However, I do have one question regarding this.
Q: I have an external 28k modem for my mac.(mac IIci), not connected to the internet. Can you tell me if I can use an external modem to use the STARGATE connection program? It is to be used in a null modem mode. Does the null modem mode mean that the modem has to be set a certain way? Also, the SOFTWARE ARCHIVE below would not let me access it without a password. Is there a way to view the site without actually downloading anything? I am on my pc currently and if I download to a pc formatted disk to use in my mac with pc reader in my mac, will that work? Can I download mac stuff on a pc and not get messed up on either computer? Sorry, this seems to be one multifaceted question. I look forward to hearing from you.
