Hello all. I'm pretty new to this list, although I've been an 020/030 Mac owner for a long time.
Anyway, I finally managed to get my hands on a Macintosh TV, and have been playing around with it. I don't have any of the manuals, and am having a hard time finding much specific information online about the system. Pretty much everything I can find is just a general overview from sites like LEM, etc... I have two questions...first, I have the TV Setup control panel installed, and it works great. I've been told that it's possible to do a screen grab from video, but I can't find any mention of how exactly to do that. I'm assuming it's just a key combination. Anyone know off hand? And two, did Apple release any developer documentation on how to work with the TV Tuner from the Toolbox? I'd love to play around with it. I realize the limitations and the limited connection between the OS and the Tuner, but if Apple can write a control panel for it - something must be out there. Well, okay, there's a third too. From browsing the web, I get the impression that Apple really doesn't want people like me to have Service Manuals for their systems. Looking for one makes me feel like I'm looking for pirated software or something! I also noticed the very emphasized note for the LEM lists to not ask for a URL. So I'm also hesitant to ask if anyone has the Mac TV service manual...is that pretty much a big no-no? And if it is, I apologize for bringing any of this up! =) Anyway, thanks in advance for all your help! dustin -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
