Get the 7.5.5 update disk images from Apple's FTP
and install it. Lots of bug fixes between 7.5.0
and 7.5.5. The thing to be wary of going from 7.5.3
to 7.5.5 is there are a few bits of hardware and
some applications that don't get along well with
7.5.5. Since it's already at 7.5.3, we know there
isn't (shouldn't) be any of the stuff in the box that
crapped out on that System version.

Hmm, there's another FAQ page, or a whole website.
What software and hardware quits working partially
or completely with each update from 7.5.0 through
7.5.5? And which companies got tired of having to
patch their applications and drivers each time
there was a new System update and threw in the towel
on serving the Mac market during that period?

Serious questions. What size was the "fallout" of
Mac products during the 7.5.0 through 7.5.5 time?
Did more companies start doing Mac products than
ones who gave up the Apple? Or did the number
decrease?

Don't need speculation, just the hardest numbers that
can be counted.
