Hi,
I have recently got a Performa 630 and I seem to have a problem where once
it is switched off it turns itself on again randomly. Sometimes 10 mins
after I shut it down, sometimes at some god forsaken time in the morning!

Whats up with it? I had a look at the "Auto Power On/Off" Control panel and
it is switched off so I don't get what it is playing at...
Any Suggestions?

Also on the subject of the Performa 630, Is there a special technique to
opening it? i take off all the panels at the back and i can all most get the
lid off but it is as if there is a screw in the middle somewhere holding it
down. Also, what kind of ethernet card would fit in it (the comms slot is
occupied with a 14.4k modem)?

Also, I have found two large sticks of 30-pin Ram that i tried to put into
the IIci. When I powered it up, it chimed as usual then played a funny tune
and didn't go any further. Is the RAM PC RAM so it won't work or is it
allread maxed out?

Thankee.
Dan
