I have a recently-purchased PM8500 that is working fine. However, when the machine is on and not being used, I hear what apparently is the HD every minute-or-two. It sounds like the HD is accessed twice within a second, then it is quiet for about two minutes. The sound is not loud or irritating, but I was wondering if this is normal. And maybe more importantly, what is going on?
