2.5" SCSI drives topped out around the 500 megabyte mark. Apple was just about the only consumer for them.
There are new "SCSI" drives available that are actually IDE drives with a super tiny 2.5" IDE to 2.5" SCSI connector converter attached. The problem there would be finding one with a small enough capacity, ie, 2gig or less. I don't know if the converter can be bought by itself.
