I think Apple knew what they were doing. For every geek there are probably 30 users who just want to do a little word processing, send some email, surf the web, and maybe make a bithday card for grandma. They buy a computer, use for several machine-generation, and aren't the least bit interested in adding whistles, bells, and gizmos. I allow that the marketing people in any large, successful corporation do their homework. After all, this is a techie's list so it's to be expected that any missing, advanced feature will be identified and lamented.
