Hi Folks, I need some advice. I want to buy a Laserwriter to use with my Mac SE/30. I would also like to use it with my G4 (with a Griffin adapter which I have yet to buy) if possible.
I have come across two models. One is a Personal Laserwriter NTR, which has 300dpi resolution and 16ppm, Postscrpt Level 2 and up to 4mb of RAM installed. The other is a Laserwriter Select 300, which has no Postscript and only 512k RAM, and only 4ppm. Another one is the Laserwriter 4/600PS which is a 600ppi printer and more expensive. Which one is the best one for the money? I think I can get the cheapest one for about $100 and the 4 for $200. The NTR is $120. I had a Personal Laserwriter LS a few years back but sold it as it was so slow!! Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
