OK, I have a quandry that is driving me nuts. I hope you can help me to figure this out. Here is the problem. I have a 20M HS (external) that I had on my SCSI chain at one time. After awhile it began to slow down my system so I ran Norton and Disinfectant on it. Disinfectant found an ancient virus and killed it (I then ran it on my machine and the rest of the SCSI chain and then on the 20M HD again and all were clean). For awhile all was well but then that 20M HD began acting up (Norton and Disinfectant found no problems) so I took it off the SCSI chain and things returned to normal. Well, tonight I thought I would try to recover all the stuff off the 20M HD (onto a 44M Bernoulli disk) and then I'd nuke and pave it so I could use it again. Well, it shows up with SCSIProbe 4.3 but I cannot mount the drive onto the desktop. The message I get is that its not readable and do I wish to format the HD. Any ideas?
